Blogging blues

Hey folks, as you may (or may not) have noticed, posting has been light 'round here lately. Haven't even been keeping up with the usual blog post announcing a new New Arrivals list. That's 'cause until we manage to migrate this blog onto the front page of the actual AQ site (which is part of a major site upgrade we have in the works), it's seeming to us that we get a better response / wider readership from things we post to our Facebook page, or Twitter about. If you haven't signed up for either or both, may we suggest you do so?

Lately we've been posting a "used cd score of the day" to the Facebook page, for those of you who don't regularly dig through our used section... there's some hidden gems.

Not that we're gonna not post stuff here too... but just a heads up to check out those other socially networked means of staying in touch with what's going at AQ.

Kerry and Christine have blogs too

We're sure that AQ mailorder customers who've been with us for more than a year or two, must have fond memories of our former mailorder staffers Kerry and Christine. Apparently K&C's current jobs elsewhere allow them a lot of free time, 'cause Kerry emailed - in response to our blog - to say "OMG! I started a blog too!" which you can find at http://momforwards.blogspot.com. She also teamed up with Christine to start yet another blog, http://radduderadkidradlady.blogspot.com. The URLs for both should give you a fairly accurate idea as to the respective contents of these blogs. Neither have much to do with music (well, the radduderadkidradlady blog does sometimes, sorta) but should provide some, uh, amusement nonetheless, so we thought we should pass these links along! Check 'em out.

We're blogging now...

Greetings! Thought we'd start an AQ-records blog, or even a couple of 'em (Andee's also doing one all himself at fistfulofaq.blogspot.com). As if doing our email update/website bizness every two weeks wasn't enough! Now you can check here daily (ha) and see what's happenin'. Hopefully. If we stay on it that is. We'll post about cool stuff that just came in, what to look for on the next list, things going on in the store and in the Mission, whatever. We'll try to figure out a way to let you click and order stuff we might mention here, but of course (until that happens, and after) you should just go to our regular website, www.aquariusrecords.org, to order and read about all the crazy music we're selling! So, this is in 'beta' stage as it were, we'll experiment with the blogging and see how it goes. Thanks for reading! (And commenting, if/when you do). -Allan/AQ
